Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott announced the news on Wednesday, calling Lara a “gifted communicator” with a strong connection to viewers.
She also highlighted Lara’s experience as a “successful entrepreneur and working mother,” adding that her deep understanding of the American public and today’s political climate will be a valuable addition to the weekend lineup.

Since 2020, she has hosted “The Right View,” a web series focused on conservative perspectives. She also previously contributed to Fox News from 2021 to 2022.
Expressing her excitement about her return, Lara shared that she is eager to connect with viewers once again. “I’m thrilled to bring my voice back to Fox News, talk directly with the American people, and highlight what makes this country great,” she said.

She added that her new show will highlight The Golden Age of America and explore how this era will shape the country’s future—along with her own journey. According to Fox News, “My View with Lara Trump” will focus on the resurgence of common sense in American life, emphasizing practicality in today’s society.
The show will feature in-depth discussions and interviews with thought leaders, offering insight into the major headlines impacting families across the nation.

In a past interview, President Donald Trump praised his daughter-in-law’s leadership and political acumen. When asked whether a “Trump dynasty” was possible, he suggested it could be.
He described Lara as an “amazing” leader, highlighting her time at the Republican National Committee. He credited the party’s effectiveness under her leadership. In a separate press briefing, President Trump also spoke highly of Lara, describing her as “unbelievable and incredible” in her role at the RNC.
He emphasized her strong reputation among women and commended her efforts, stating that she played a key role in the party’s success, especially in addressing election integrity concerns.
With her new role at Fox News, Lara is set to re-enter the media landscape, offering her perspective on the issues shaping the country.
Lara became part of the Trump family in 2014 when she married Eric Trump, the son of President Trump and his first wife, Ivana Trump. Their wedding took place at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida—a venue with special significance, as it also hosted President Trump and Melania Trump’s nuptials in 2005.
Since saying “I do,” Lara and Eric have built a life together, now celebrating over a decade of marriage. They are proud parents to two children: their son, Luke, born in 2017, and their daughter, Carolina, who arrived in 2019.
The couple shared the news of their first pregnancy in March 2017, with Eric revealing they discovered they were expecting on his birthday. Lara later admitted that the early stages of pregnancy were more exhausting than she had anticipated. “Until the fatigue hit, I didn’t believe it would actually happen to me,” she said.
Lara always wanted children, though choosing a name proved tricky. They initially liked the name Charlie—until they gave it to one of their dogs. In the end, they settled on Eric Luke Trump, lovingly calling him Luke.
Eric shared the news of Luke’s arrival on X on September 12. He wrote, “[Lara] and I are excited to announce the birth of our son, Eric ‘Luke’ Trump, at 8:50 this morning,” along with the first photo of their newborn.
In April 2019, Lara announced she was expecting their second child, and just four months later, she and Eric welcomed their daughter, Carolina.
During her pregnancy, Lara spoke with Hello! about how their son, Luke, who was two at the time, might react to becoming a big brother. She admitted he was far more focused on playing soccer and racing his toy trucks than on the idea of a new sibling.
