Early one morning, just as the sun began to rise, a couple called the police. The woman’s voice trembled as she tried to explain the bizarre situation.
“Something is living in our couch,” she said. “It moves… and scratches. At first, we thought it was just the street noise, but the sounds come directly from the sofa!”
The officer on duty decided to investigate immediately and brought along a trained dog, just in case there was truly something inside.
Arriving at the Scene
When the police entered the apartment, the tension was palpable. The husband, confined to a wheelchair, held his wife’s hand tightly. She looked ready to scream at any moment. The room was eerily quiet, every sound amplified in the early morning stillness.
The dog paused in front of the couch, its hackles raised, then suddenly growled. One second later, it lunged at the cushions, thrusting its nose into the fabric.
The couple froze, wide-eyed. The officer frowned, gripping his flashlight and muttering:
“There is something in there… and it’s clearly not ordinary.”
The Discovery Begins
The dog scratched and pawed at the sofa frantically, whining as if trying to attack an unseen enemy. The officer carefully retrieved a knife and began to cut into the side of the couch.
At first, dust and old stuffing fell away, nothing alarming. But then… a sharp, piercing cry echoed from within.
“Oh my God!” the woman gasped, covering her mouth.

The cat was taken to a nearby animal shelter, where it received food, warmth, and medical attention. The couple, though shaken, laughed nervously, realizing that what had seemed like a horror story was actually a chance to save a life.
“We never imagined that our couch could hide something like this,” the husband said. “It was terrifying… but I’m so glad we called the police.”
