David and Victoria got married on July 4, 1999, in a ceremony that was dubbed the celebrity wedding of the year. During their secret nuptials, held at Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, Ireland, a single dove was reportedly released as a symbol of their love for each other.
Only 29 close family and friends attended the Robin Hood-themed wedding. The bride and groom later joined 236 guests at the reception hosted on a marquee in the castle grounds.
They were dressed up in black and white attires and had on security tags including their infant son, Brooklyn Beckham. The then-four-month-old also served as the ring bearer on his famous parents’ big day.
Online followers commented on the snapshot with one writing, “Look as good now as you did Back then iconic.” Another added, “Iconic then, iconic now. Happy silver wedding anniversary!” “It’s the most beautiful color,” said one.
In 2023, the acknowledgment came in the form of David posting a throwback photo of Victoria sitting on his lap as they each held a puppy. In the caption, he called her the best wife, mother, and drinking partner. He then wished her a happy anniversary and expressed how much he loved her.
The next one was of him kissing her cheek with the caption, “Still holding hands and still laughing (with you, not just at you). I love you so much.”
The Beckhams have been through so much together and have always been able to come out of each adversity stronger and closer than before. The couple has navigated fame, rumors, businesses, and raising four children together.

They have relied on one another throughout their marriage to overcome difficult times. And even though they appear to have a strong front, they are often plagued with rumors of infidelity and divorce, which began early in their relationship.
Talking about combating the rumors about their marriage through the years, Victoria shared, “People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years. We both realize that we are stronger together than we are as individuals.”
David agreed with his wife and credited their strong family values to their parents, who brought them up knowing that family is the most important thing. He also confirmed that they stay together because of their intense and enduring love for one another, not because they are a brand, as some people have alleged.
The former soccer player admitted that marriage was sometimes difficult and that they had had issues over the years but worked through them together by leaning on their family values.
Besides finding success in their respective careers, they also made a beautiful family life for themselves. The pair welcomed their first child in March 1999 and tied the knot in July.

While there have been numerous rumors like this, David and Victoria have remained rock solid for 24 years and have never given in to the drama surrounding them for the entirety of their time together.
The rumors first began swirling in 2003 when David was spotted with a woman at a nightclub. The woman’s name was Rebecca Loos, and although David denied the allegations, he was met with a detailed story about several sexual encounters the pair had allegedly had.
Loos’ brother apparently confirmed the allegations saying that his sister had parted ways with the Beckhams feeling heartbroken and despondent after Victoria warned her off. She went on vacation with her children at the time, which the public took to mean she was feeling the public eye.
It was later confirmed that the fashion designer had planned the vacation long before the cheating allegations surfaced, and she was simply enjoying some time away with her family.
He also mentioned that he found the rumors about him cheating on his wife ludicrous. He reiterated that his number one priority was his wife and children, no matter what else was going on in his life.
