Max wasn\u2019t just a pet; he was the officer\u2019s loyal partner, having served with him in countless operations. They had faced danger together, always side by side. On the night of the warehouse robbery\u2014when the officer lost his life under circumstances still unclear\u2014Max was there. That day, Max lay still at the soldiers\u2019 feet, right beside the coffin blanketed with colorful flowers. Soft sobs drifted through the air, mingling with the quiet rustle of leaves.
