The tears wouldn\u2019t stop. I felt betrayed, deceived, and utterly broken. But what hurt me most was seeing my little girl \u2014 scared, locked away, calling for me.<\/p>\n Mark had used her as his cover, and that I could never forgive.<\/p>\n The very next day, I filed for divorce and child support. I packed our things, took Emma\u2019s tiny hand in mine, and walked away from that house for good.<\/p>\n No mother should ever have to see her child treated that way \u2014 frightened, isolated, left alone while the person meant to protect her turned his back.<\/p>\n We deserve better.
