Up ahead was a small clearing with a weathered tree stump in the center. Mark often stopped there to drink tea from his thermos.<\/p>\n

But that day, someone was already there.<\/p>\n

The boy swung his legs and thought for a moment.<\/p>\n

There were only a few lines:<\/p>\n

Mark immediately contacted emergency services and the police. Using the boy\u2019s description, they quickly located the house with the red roof.<\/p>\n

It was empty.<\/p>\n
