She wrote in a post on X, \u201cI know all of you and him, and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit. I\u2019m not defending Iran, but let\u2019s be honest about all of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cThe Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they\u2019ve been telling for decades\u2014that Iran is always on the verge of developing a nuclear weapon.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know who has nuclear weapons? Israel. They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cTrump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people\u2014the very people he claimed he was trying to free.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the same time, Trump also faced backlash from Christian supporters after sharing an AI-generated image portraying himself as a Jesus-like figure on Truth Social.<\/p>\n

Many longtime supporters described the post as \u201cdisgusting and unacceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amid growing criticism, a new bill has been introduced that could potentially remove him from office.<\/p>\n

House Democrats brought forward the legislation on Tuesday, though it would still need approval from Congress.<\/p>\n

The proposal would allow officials to evaluate the president\u2019s fitness for office and potentially remove him using the 25th Amendment.<\/strong><\/h1>\n

\u201cWe are at a dangerous moment, and it is now a matter of national security for Congress to fulfill its responsibilities under the 25th Amendment to protect the American people from an increasingly unstable situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the bill is unlikely to significantly affect Trump\u2019s presidency.<\/p>\n

The committee would still require the vice president\u2019s approval to proceed.<\/p>\n

JD Vance appears firmly supportive of Trump, making such a scenario unlikely.<\/p>\n

In addition, Republicans currently control Congress, which reduces the chances of the bill being passed.<\/p>\n

Trump has already responded to the proposal.<\/p>\n

A White House spokesperson told The Independent that Raskin was \u201ca stupid person\u2019s idea of a smart person.\u201d<\/p>\n
