The church that day looked like something out of a fairytale. Tall windows, soft golden light, quiet music, and guests already seated, waiting for the ceremony to begin. The bride held her bouquet, trying to calm herself, though her nervousness was still obvious. The groom stood beside her, smiling politely, but he too was clearly anxious.<\/p>\n

Standing nearby was the bride\u2019s dog\u2014a large brown dog. The two had been inseparable since her teenage years, and on this day, the bride had dreamed of having him by her side.<\/p>\n

Throughout the ceremony, the dog behaved perfectly: it sat calmly, didn\u2019t disturb anyone, simply watched, as if it understood how important this day was for its owner.<\/p>\n

But the moment the bride and groom stepped forward to walk toward the altar, everything changed.<\/strong><\/h1>\n

And then everything happened in seconds.<\/p>\n

The ground shook so violently that people couldn\u2019t stay on their feet. From the direction of the dome came a deafening crash, as if something enormous was breaking apart. People screamed; some rushed toward the exit.<\/p>\n

And right above the spot where the bride and groom had been standing just seconds earlier, a part of the old dome collapsed.<\/p>\n

Stones, dust, debris\u2014everything came crashing down. Chaos filled the church. Some people cried, some tried to escape, others simply stood frozen, unable to comprehend what had just happened.<\/p>\n

And the bride\u2026 she stood off to the side, holding her dress, which was still clenched in the dog\u2019s teeth.<\/p>\n

The dog was breathing heavily now, no longer barking. It simply looked at her.<\/p>\n

Only then did everyone realize the truth. A powerful earthquake had struck. In other places, as it was later revealed, many people had been injured. Buildings had collapsed, and many were trapped under the rubble.<\/p>\n

If it hadn\u2019t been for the dog, the bride and groom would have remained standing directly beneath the dome\u2014and might not have survived.<\/p>\n
