In 1983, Patricia Clarke welcomed her son, Kevin Robert Clark, into the world, a baby weighing over 16 pounds. He became the largest newborn at Community Memorial Hospital and possibly in all of New Jersey at that time. Despite his extraordinary size, Kevin was healthy and swiftly rose to fame, appearing on shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “Good Morning America.”
As Kevin grew, his height continued to attract attention. By the age of 12, he had reached 5’7″, and by junior high, he stood tall at 6’5″. Known for his humor, he often quipped, “I like to joke that I’m 5-foot-21. When people ask if I play basketball, I ask them if they play miniature golf.” Now at 40, Kevin stands at an impressive 6’9” and is well-accustomed to the curiosity his height evokes. “There isn’t a day that goes by when someone doesn’t ask me how tall I am,” he shared.
Kevin, a former soldier, now lives with his 6-foot-tall wife and their Great Dane. He has learned to navigate the world with his extraordinary stride, embracing the attention and living life with confidence.
