A man was rushing to the office, but on the way, encountering helpless children, his plans changed, and what he discovered there shocked him.

The businessman was rushing to the central office that morning, where he was expected to present the final report on his new project.

His thoughts were still filled with the tension of the previous day’s meetings, and he was wondering how the business meeting with the officials would go.

Suddenly, while crossing the street, he noticed three children trying to escape the rain. The man approached them, and at first glance, upon seeing the children, he realized a reality that was shocking to him.

The continuation can be seen in the first comment. 👇👇👇

The man froze in place, raindrops streaming down his face, but he didn’t even notice them. The children’s faces seemed incredibly familiar, evoking a disturbing memory long buried deep in his mind.

He approached them with a little caution, and during their conversation, hearing their names, he was suddenly shocked: these were his children.

The same little boy and two girls with whom he hadn’t kept in touch in recent years, whom he had separated from his wife and seen very rarely, now stood before him in the rain—lost and torn from life.

An unbearable mixture of feelings overwhelmed him.

His heart raged simultaneously with mad love, guilt, and the bitterness of regret.

He understood that years of lost moments could never be regained, but now the children—innocent and defenseless against the rain and cold of the street—demonstrated that their safety was now in his hands.

With great care and attention, the man covered the children with his umbrella, hugged them warmly, and whispered, “Now nothing will happen to you. I’m here.”

He took them to the nearest cafe to warm them up after the rain and cold, feeling that from this moment a new connection was beginning – for the lost years, and he was ready to protect them not only from today’s rain, but also from the cold and pain that had accumulated over the years of his absence.

I spent weeks in the hospital fighting for my life, and my family never came once. Not my mother, not my father, not my sister. One month later, my mom texted asking for $12,000 for my sister’s bridal dress.
